Calgary International Film Festival

Celebrating their 24th year CIFF is an event you shouldn’t miss out on. The 11-day showcase of over 200 multi-genre feature and short films from Canada and around the world also hosts an Industry Week series that emphasizes unique and exciting ways for filmmakers and fans to interact.  The Calgary International Film Festival is now the largest film festival in Alberta and the sixth-largest in Canada.

Pumpkins After Dark

Pumpkins After Dark is Canada’s award-winning outdoor Halloween event. Featuring over 10,000+ hand-carved pumpkins, this one-of-a-kind walk-through experience is the must-see event of the fall season.

Alberta Culture Days

The Alberta Culture Days are running all throughout September with tons of activities and events.  With opportunities for Calgarians to discover, experience and celebrate arts and culture through community events, festivals, live music and more.

Harvest Lights

The corn maze remains dark for visitors, providing an extra fun challenge for visitors to complete with their flashlights. Please note this year’s corn maze is short in height due to the summer hailstorm they received.

When: September 15 – October 30

Cirque Du Soleil Kooza

KOOZA is an innovative journey viewed through the perspective of The Innocent, an endearing yet naïve clown looking for his place in the world. A mystery item is delivered to The Innocent one day when he is flying his kite. Cineplex Family Favorites

This weeks feature is School of Rock 20th Anniversary

A wannabe rock star in need of cash poses as a substitute teacher at a prep school, and tries to turn his class into a rock band.

Night Light

Night Light is a 3-night celebration of curated light, art, and live performance that will transform multiple venues and public spaces throughout Victoria Park. Featuring projection mapped architecture, light-art installations, music and other art forms, Night Light will grow a culture of supporting the next generation of local artists.

Harvest Pumpkin Festival

Stroll through the farmyard and find your perfect PUMPKINS at Butterfield Acres this year!
