Tom and Jerry – The Movie (released Feb 26)

We were gifted an opportunity to pre-screen the movie. It was fun to see a modernized version of the silent rivals. The part animation/live action made this a unique movie to watch. My kids really enjoyed it!

Synopsis:
One of the most beloved rivalries in history is reignited when Jerry moves into New York City’s finest hotel on the eve of “the wedding of the century,” forcing the event’s desperate planner, Kayla, to hire Tom to get rid of him, in director Tim Story’s “Tom and Jerry.” The ensuing cat and mouse battle threatens to destroy her career, the wedding and possibly the hotel itself. But soon, an even bigger problem arises: a diabolically ambitious staffer conspiring against all three of them.
An eye-popping blend of classic animation and live action, Tom and Jerry’s new adventure stakes new ground for the iconic characters and forces them to eventually do the unthinkable… work together to save the day.

Since theatres are closed here in BC, Tom and Jerry is available to rent now!

There are some great activities for the family here:

A Week Away Movie –  March 26

Being released on Netflix,  this cute movie about a Troubled teen Will Hawkins (Kevin Quinn) who has a run-in with the law that puts him at an important crossroad: go to juvenile detention or attend a Christian summer camp. At first a fish-out-of-water, Will opens his heart, discovers love with a camp regular (Bailee Madison), and sense of belonging in the last place he expected to find it.

This looks like a really cute movie. I am looking forward to watching it with the family.

It was a great movie, our family really enjoyed it and of course, immediately when the movie ended – asked if we can have a Yes Day!
