Around Town: Easter Activites for the Family

Easter long weekend is coming up soon! Here is a list of some great Easter activities happening around the city.

The Easter Train at Stanley Park – March 23 to April 1 – Hop over to Stanley Park for a ride on the miniature train, egg hunts, crafts and a visit from the Easter Bunny. $8.75 for kids 3 and up (adults free to supervise).

Easter Eggstravaganza at Douglas Park Community Centre – March 23, 11:00am (ages 3-8). And outdoor egg hunt and a visit from the Easter Bunny. $5.

Hippity Hoppity Easter at Creekside Recreation Centre – March 28, 4:30pm. Includes and egg hunt maze and games. $3.

Easter Fun at Kerrisdale Community Centre – March 30, 1pm. Play games, do some crafts and have a visit from the Easter Bunny who will be bringing Easter treats. $6.

Easter Eggstravaganza at False Creek Community Centre – March 30, 10:30am, ages 2 and up. Includes a continental style brunch, games, crafts, family entertainment and an Easter Egg Hunt. $5.

Easter Fun at Hillcrest Centre – March 30, 11:30am. Egg hunt, crafts, prizes, and treat bags for the kids! (ages 2-11). $3.

Easter Eggstravaganza at Kitsilano Community Centre – March 30, 11:00am. The gym will have fun activities for all ages up to 8 years old. The morning includes crafts, games, face painting, cookie decorating and more! $6.

Roundhouse Easter Egg Hunt – Sat. March 30th. 9:30am-10:45am (1-3yrs), 11:15am-12:30pm (1-6yrs), 1pm-2:15pm (4-9yrs). The event will include an egg hunt with arts and crafts activities, a candy bag to take home, and a visit from the Easter Bunny. $5 per child and pre-registration required.

The Great A-Mazing Egg Hunt at Vandusen Gardens – March 30th. This event is already sold out, sadly. I plan to get my tickets early next year!

Bounce with Bunny at Mount Pleasant Community Centre – April 1, 10:15am – An Easter-themed Parent & Tot Gym, including an egg hunt! $3.
