Last night, my husband and I had the absolute pleasure of being at the opening night of Dear Evan Hansen. We have never been to any shows like this before, and it was a fantastic first experience!
This show started off very humorous and instantly had the crowd chuckling away! It soon transitioned into a very relatable story that touched on so many important issues, it is hard to pinpoint every one. As mental health has become so prominent in today’s society, this performance perfectly displays the struggle that so many people go through daily.
As to not ruin the amazing story, I will not go into any detail; however, I will say that throughout the two and a half hours, anyone who sees this can expect to laugh, be brought to tears, and most importantly, think about the important issues that have gone without words for far too long.
I highly recommend seeing this show, so do yourselves a favour and hurry up and get your tickets before they are all gone!
