City Of Edmonton
City Arts Day Camps
- You Can Bake! (Ages 9-12)
- Participants will learn to measure, whip, and mix ingredients when they create an assortment of baked goods
- Ice Princess Ballet & Jazz Camp (Ages 6-8)
- Join us for a magical ballet & jazz combo dance experience! Learn choreography to a medley of original music from your favourite movies and work on your coordination, balance and flexibility. Campers will also have fun and get creative during princess themed games and/or crafts.
- Superhero Hip Hop Camp (Ages 6-8)
- Have you ever wanted to be a superhero? In this superhero themed camp, participants will learn the latest hip hop dance moves and work on your coordination, balance and flexibility.
- Incredible Art Camp (Ages 4-6)
- Join us on an art adventure this summer! Use paint, paper and clay to design incredible art masterpieces! Campers will create clay masks to view their beautiful artwork. Each day will challenge their imagination with art and creative games!
- Photography Camp for Teens (Ages 12-17)
- Learn the fundamentals of photography by reviewing aperture, shutter speed, and composition.
- Claywork Camp (Ages 8-12)
- Combine technique and imagination to design personalized pieces. Create pots, mugs and masks. Learn to roll, pinch, press, coil, and add texture to your projects.
- Beginner Sewing Camp: PJ Pants & Pillow (Ages 11-14)
- In this class you will learn the basics of sewing by hand and by machine. Learn safe operation of a sewing machine, take measurements, and read patterns. Participants will create their own pajama pants and pillow. All supplies included.
- Jewelry Silversmithing (Age 13-17)
- Have you ever wanted to learn to make your own jewelry? Learn how to operate tools and machines safely to create two unique jewelry projects using brass or copper materials. Working with the instructor, learn to solder, file, and polish your own custom jewelry. All supplies are included.
- Acting Up! Drama Camp (Ages 8-12)
- Whether your child is full of drama or just loves to tell stories, this camp will give them a chance to shine! Learn new theatre games, improv exercises and script development. A final performance on Friday will boost their confidence and increase their skills.
- Cartooning Camp (Ages 7-10), (Age 9-12)
- Learn the basics of classic cartoon drawing, inking and colouring. Artists will design original characters and learn how to use them in their own comic strips to great effect!
- Draw & Paint Camp (Ages 7-10), (Ages 9-12)
- Dive into the world of art! Use your imagination to create paintings and drawings using a variety of mediums to learn new paint strokes and techniques.
John Janzen Nature Centre Day Camps
Nature Detectives – Signs of Spring (Ages 5-8)
- Spring is in the air at the John Janzen Nature Centre! Budding nature detectives will discover the secrets of seasonal changes in Edmonton’s river valley.
John Walter Museum Day Camps
- River Valley Navigators (Ages 7-10)
- Campers will experience the John Walter Community and create past modes of transportation while learning about different ways to navigate the land!

Physical Activity Day Camps
- Race Around the World Camp (Ages 6-7), (Ages 8-12)
- In this race across camp, participants will work together in small groups to conquer challenges and overcome roadblocks. These adventures will increase skills in teamwork, leadership, communication, and personal growth. Teams will accumulate points throughout the week leading up to the final leg of the race. Please note: There is swimming in this camp.
- Survivor Fun Factor Camp (Ages 6-7), (Ages 8-12)
- Have your child join us for a week full of activities with an extreme fun factor. Tribal teams will compete in obstacle courses, scavenger hunts, wacky competitions, riddles and immunity challenges. It’s sure to be an adventure for everyone! Please Note: There is swimming in this camp.
- Campers of the Galaxy Camp (Age 8-12)
- Have your little Star Lord take a journey through the galaxy with us. Your child will go on adventures each day. They will run, crawl, climb and jump through the challenges that each planet faces

Telus World of Science
TELUS World of Science is excited to offer ALL NEW camps for Spring Break and welcome campers back to explore Space and Astronomy, Nature, Engineering and Math, Coding, Tinkering and more at the science centre.
Grades 1-3
- Curious Kids
- Do you have a Curious Kid? A child who asks questions from morning till night? Put their curiosity to good use in this exciting camp! Campers will experience thrills, chills and spills as they investigate chemistry, biology, engineering and math! Campers will get to build and test a flying machine, and get messy in this science camp for everyone
- Paleontology Pals
- Does your child correct your pronunciation of dinosaur names? Do they want to be a paleontologist when they grow up? Then this is the camp for them! Paleontology Pals will use paleontological skills to uncover dinosaur fossils, eggs, and bones. As campers learn about the different periods in which dinosaurs ruled, they will explore how dinosaurs walked, how big they were, and get to invent their own dinosaur.

- Gadgets and Gizmos
- We have added some new cool activities to Gadgets & Gizmos, so if you can dream it, you can build it! The best way to discover is to design, create, and build in The Science Garage this spring. Use awesome tools to test your ideas, build creative contraptions, and make useful gadgets to bring home. You’ll finish this camp with new maker skills and a passion for creation!
The Little Gym
Your child will spend three adventure-filled hours a day on a unique, exciting quest with their friends. Each week revolves around an interactive learning theme with different, creative lesson plans that will keep your child engaged. Ages 3-8. Camps start at $24 per session plus tax

Family Futures
- Exploration and Adventure Spring Break Camp (Ages 6-12)
- If you love outdoor activities and being active, then you will not want to miss this camp. We will provide a variety of outdoor games, sports, obstacle courses and nature scavenger hunts. When indoors, we will create crafts and other projects to be used in the great outdoors. Every day will be a new adventure, so come prepared with your outdoor clothes.
