Fri, Sat, Sun & Mon (various times) – New Sea to Sky Gondola & Suspension Bridge
Location: Squamish
Details: Following the Sea to Sky Gondola Grand Opening celebration on Friday May 16 from 11am-9pm, it will be available to the public for the whole long weekend and thereafter! Adult tickets are $34.95 with discounts available for seniors, youth, children and families. Summer passes are on sale for $99 for an adult and $249 for a family (two adults and two children). Tickets include a round-trip visit to the Summit along with access to the Summit Lodge, Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge, viewing platforms and trail network.
Fri, May 16th – Fri, Sept 26th (5-10 pm) – Friday Night Market at the Shipyards (FREE)
Location: Shipbuilder’s Square at the foot of Lonsdale, North Van
Details: The popular Friday night market is back! Each week you can enjoy fresh food, locally made products, musicians, art and live entertainment. If you’re hungry make sure you visit the food trucks and then stop by the beer and wine garden.
Sat, May 17th (9am – 11:30am) – Fun with Dad (or male caregivers)
Location: West Van Family Place (in West Van Rec Centre)

Location: Montroyal Fire Hall, 550 Montroyal Blvd, North Van
Details: Libraries aren’t the only places to go to for storytime! Come and listen to an exciting story, read by Fireman Matt. Then check out the fire trucks and meet the rest of the team at the fire hall. For ages 4 – 7; please pre-register.

Sun, May 18th (11 am – 3 pm) – Wilderness At Your Doorstep (FREE)
Location: BC Mills House, Lynn Headwaters Regional Park, North Van
Details: Wilderness at Your Doorstep is an annual celebration of pioneer history. Explore cool artifacts from the logging and mining days at BC Mills House, and discover more about everything from hiking to bears to archaeology. Chat with volunteers. Sign out a family-friendly Discovery Pack and go explore!
