Mothers Day is just around the corner and I’m sure like so many of us you’re struggling with what to ask for. As well as what to buy the most important women in your lives. So, here are a few ideas to get you started.
Contents
1. New Clothes
With how quickly kids grow I feel like I’m constantly buying new clothes but none of them are for me. Supporting small boutiques is so important so I try and do it as often as I can. One of which is relevé, a clothing boutique based out of Toronto. They carry designer active wear and lounge wear from a wide variety of brands including Free People, Varley, Vuori, Vitamin A, and much more. Let’s be honest, most of us live in active/lounge wear so their website is the one stop shop! Plus, they ship across Canada for free with a $100+ order.
Free People Quilted Carryall
And, if you’re looking for something with a touch of faith and style, consider checking out a collection of Christian apparel from Kerusso for a unique and meaningful addition to your wardrobe.
2. Meal Subscriptions
As a mother who does ALL of our meal planning and grocery shopping, I would LOVE to receive this as a gift. Anything that will take some of the mental load away from trying to make everyone happy when it comes to dinner time.

3. Spa Treatments
This is generally my favorite of the bunch! I already spend a good amount of money on my skincare but, sometimes my skin is in need of something more. I live in Edmonton and my go to business is New Skin Advanced Treatments and Laser located downtown. If skin treatments aren’t your jam then a massage, mani & pedi, or body treatments work great as well.
4. Candles
While I love burning candles lots of the ones out there aren’t made with the best ingredients. Keeping with supporting local I would recommend checking out Milk Jar Candles based out of YYC. Made from coconut soy they are a clean burning option with tons of different scents to choose from.

Where to purchase: various boutiques and online
5. Bath & Body Care
As someone who loves having baths I always appreciate new bubble bath, soaps, and bath bombs. One of my favorites is the Vanilla Coconut Bubble Bath from Rocky Mountain Soap Company. The have a wide variety of products to choose from and they have stores across Canada as well as the option to purchase online.
6. Books
I recently began getting into reading before bed. Usually I opt for simply visiting my local library however, I have found out that most of the books I want to read tons of other people do as well. So, sometimes I will just go ahead and buy the book! If you know what they like you might be safe purchasing a particular one or a gift card works too.
7. Fragrance Set
Did you know that Shoppers Drug Mart only comes out with their fragrance discovery sets a couple of times a year? Well, they are back for Mother’s Day and they are the perfect gift if you don’t know what type of perfume they like. You get 7 large samples and when you figure out which one you like best redeem for the full size!
