The latest video games and movies are always at the top of my kid’s Christmas lists and this year is no different. I never mind making those purchases as I know they will be used on a regular basis but it’s hard to know which ones they will enjoy the most. So, I have put together a list of some of our favorites this year.
Video Games
Plants Vs Zombies: Battle For Neighbourville
System: PC, PS4, and XBOX One
Cost: $39.99
Featuring the over-the-top shooter action fans of the franchise have come to love, Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville welcomes players to Neighborville, a suburban region where the conflict between plants and zombies is booming. Even though this game is rated 10+ both of my children ages 4 and 7 have no issues playing this game. I like that even though there is gun-use that it isn’t gory so I have no problem allowing them to play. Plus, from December 2nd, 2019 to December 31st, 2019 enjoy ” Holidays with Feastivus ” bonus content!
Disney Tsum Tsum Festival
System: Nintendo Switch
Cost: $59.99
The cute little characters from Disney’s Tsum Tsum step foot into a toy store, where they can have a blast playing ten different party games, including curling, hockey, and more! Enjoy many modes of play such as cooperative and versus play. Choose your favorite Tsum and have a good time with friends and family!
Doraemon Story Of The Seasons

Toy Story 4
This was hands down one of our favorite movies of 2019! Truly a family film that everyone would love this is a shoo-in for our must-have movies this Christmas! You can read the full review of the film here
How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World

The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part
It is rare that a sequel is more requested than the original but this is one of them. With incredibly catchy songs, hilarious new characters, and everything you would expect from this amazing cast of actors. If you want to know if this dvd is right for your family click here.
Detective Pikachu
Everyone is my family are avid Pokemon fans and we made sure to see this film in the theatres. When it came out on DVD we snapped it up immediately and it has been on repeat in our house ever since. Ashley did a review on this film which you can read here.
