What’s Streaming for Kids – Fall 2021 Edition

 

 

Cartoonito

WarnerMedia Kids & Family launched the Cartoonito preschool block Monday, Sept. 13 on HBO Max and Cartoon Network. The new block offers a modern approach to preschool programming with its proprietary educational framework, Humancentric Learning. A growing roster of new and library series will add to a slate that celebrates individuality and originality, while championing creativity, compassion and inclusion.

The Cartoonito programming block will feature four fun hosts that will keep preschoolers and families laughing and entertained in between watching their favorite shows. As the colorful faces of Cartoonito, NitoGlob, Wedge and Itty each have their own unique personalities and will star in playful interstitials that will encourage young viewers to embrace their uniqueness and interact with others with empathy, respect and fairness.

Cartoonito on Cartoon Network will be available Monday-Friday (6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. ET/PT) and will include new series BingMush-Mush & The Mushables and Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go™. Preschoolers and families can also tune in Saturday-Sunday (6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. ET/PT) for additional new Cartoonito shows including Lucas the Spider. 

 

 

Lucas the Spider

Lucas the Spider is a CGI-animated show from Fresh TV in association with WexWorks Media with CAKE handling international distribution and is based on a viral YouTube hit that follows the adventures of an endearing young spider as he and his friends try to navigate the big world around them.

Little Ellen

Little Ellen, a new preschool animated series from Ellen DeGeneres that premieres Sept. 13 on HBO Max. The new show is part of WarnerMedia Kids & Family’s Cartoonito preschool block that launches the same day. Features the Voice Talents of June Squibb, Laurel Emory, JeCobi Swain and Johanna Colón

 

 

Furry Friends Forever

Furry Friends Forever: Elmo Gets a Puppy, Elmo and Grover discover an adorable stray puppy on Sesame Street. They set out on an adventure, bringing the puppy to an adoption fair with the intent of finding her a new home. Along the way, they name her Tango, learn how to take care of her, and come to realize what makes their new furry friend so special. By the end of their journey, Elmo realizes that Tango’s forever home is with him on 123 Sesame Street.

Clifford The Big Red Dog (Movie)

Release date: November 10th.

When middle-schooler Emily Elizabeth (Darby Camp) meets a magical animal rescuer (John Cleese) who gifts her a little, red puppy, she never anticipated waking up to find a giant ten-foot hound in her small New York City apartment. While her single mom (Sienna Guillory) is away for business, Emily and her fun but impulsive uncle Casey (Jack Whitehall) set out on an adventure that will keep you on the edge-of-your-seat as our heroes take a bite out of the Big Apple. Based on the beloved Scholastic book character, Clifford will teach the world how to love big!

Home Entertainment.  Produced by Warner Bros. Animation, Straight Outta Nowhere: Scooby-Doo Meets Courage the Cowardly Dog finds our favorite teen sleuths in the town of Nowhere, where they meet Courage the Cowardly Dog and investigate what makes Nowhere one of the weirdest places on Earth. The release includes three bonus classic Scooby-Doo! episodes.
