The Winnipeg International Children’s Festival is hosting Kidsfest again at the Forks June 8th-11th. This is by far one of the best family events of the year. You don’t want to miss it – there’s something for everyone!

This festival includes top-of-the-line performances, circus arts and interactive activities that are educational and inspiring. With over a dozen performers including Juno winner Fred Penner and skywalker Flyin’ Bob there is sure to be a performance your child will love. Other musical performances will include Bob & Lolo – named Canada’s Favourite Kids’ Entertainer by CBC Music,  Blues artist Guy Davis, Splash’N Boots and so many more. In addition to great performers, there are tons of activities to participate in. They have everything from engineering gum-drop structures to sewing to baton twirling. Tons of arts and crafts, balloons, circus workshops, hoola-hooping and more. There are so many activities I can only scratch the surface here. Find the whole list here.

Of course there will be no shortage of good food to accompany the festival, free parking, contests and memorabilia. Don’t forget about all the great shops and restaurants located at the Forks and the River Walk will be open.
