My family and I were invited to visit this magical winter festival this year. It’s easy to find on google maps, with signs on the side of the highway to direct you as well, and if you still aren’t sure, you can see the glow of the lights off the highway to direct you in lol. You would never imagine that these grounds are normally an RV park as it feels like you have been transported into the North Pole. The staff are lovely and will direct you easily to parking and to the entrance.
As you walk in, you are greeted by lights in every direction. It is easy to follow the flow of the grounds, with additional signs pointing to Santa and Hot Chocolate and such. The vendors market hosts local businesses with everything from clothing, locally distilled spirits, beef jerky and trinkets. There are so many snack and food vendors to keep the hangries at bay, and they all smell delicious! There are picture opportunities at every turn, you will fill an album in no time. There was also Princess Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Cinderella walking around, making my daughter the happiest kid on earth lol.
Tired of walking around, hop on the train or the horse drawn sleighs to show you around (additional fee applies for these two activities, but it’s all for charity). The snow maze was not open when we were there, because well, the weather has been a bit nuts this past couple weeks, but I assure you, based on the set up, it’s going to be AMAZING once the snow falls! Last, but certainly not least, stop by and see the big guy himself, Santa (as well as Mrs Claus on the weekends), hanging out in the toy shop, take a picture and let him know your Christmas wishes! This event is perfect for the whole family! We will definitely be back next year!

HOLIDAY LIGHT DISPLAYS
What would a Holiday outdoor experience be without a dazzling light display? Spread over approximately 7 acres of gorgeous scenic campground The Winter Wonder Forest Illuminated displays are a sight to behold.
SANTA AND MRS. CLAUS
Take a moment to stop by and chat with Santa from outside his workshop while he works to get ready for that one special night every kid dreams about!

Behind this Fundraiser
True Start Foundation is an affordable housing initiative with a financial literacy education component that began in March 2020.
The Winter Wonder Forest is the annual fundraiser for True Start Foundation.
This outdoor experience is completely self-funded through the money that is raised through ticket sales and generous donations of both the public and our Corporate Sponsors.
All proceeds from this Holiday outdoor experience go towards supporting True Start Foundation to help families this holiday season as well as to help True Start Foundation continue to run its programs throughout the year.
Last year’s Winter Wonder Forest allowed True Start Foundation to help hundreds of families both through direct support to families and additional donations made to other charities doing important work in our community.
This would not have been possible without the generous support of all participants that came out and took part in our event!
We look forward to making the 2021 – 2022 even more Bigger, Better , Brighter!
