Barnyard Baby Days at Butterfield Acres + Giveaway

Spring is a great time of year. The snow melts away then comes back then melts away again. The grass starts to turn green. You can start planning and getting your garden ready to plant.

 

It is also when animals start growing their families. On a farm with lots of animals, spring is a busy time taking care of all the new piglets, calves, bunnies, ducklings and more. It would be so fun to see all those sweet little animals.

 

Butterfield Acres is a farm here in Calgary where you can go and experience animals on a farm. Their facility is set up for you to learn and get hands on.

 

Butterfield Acres has just opened for their spring season. They start every year with Barnyard Baby Days. You will want to bring the whole family to “aww” over all the cute babies.

You will need to purchase tickets in advance.

 

Each weekend of Barnyard baby days there is something special going on, Ferrier Demo, Milking Demo or Shearing. 

 

You can also join in and learn about milking animals, go on pony rides and go on a tractor-pulled wagon ride. (some of these have an extra cost to participate)

 

 

Looking for a date night that is different than the usual dinner and a movie.

 

Barnyard Babies Date Night

Come and experience all the fun Butterfield Acres has to offer without children around. With this event being 18+ you will get a few more opportunities to get up close to some of the animals.

Season Pass

With small children you can come for short visits more often. This is a great place to go to get out of the house when the weather gets warmer. You can get season passes for children, adults, seniors, guests and your nanny.
