Waterfront Walking Tours with Shipyard Sal and Sam {FREE}
Fri, Sat, & Sundays through July & August (1:30 & 3:00pm) Foot of Lonsdale at Victory Ship Way, North Vancouver
Join the North Vancouver Museum and Archives for free drop-in walking tours of the historical Burrard Dry Dock shipyard and the Lower Lonsdale waterfront. Costumed guides, Shipyard Sal and Sam will use songs, stories and theatre to explore the experiences of the men and women who worked at this significant North Shore site.

Head on down to the Shipyards and listen to great music from live entertainers, visit the artisan vendors or enjoy an ice cold beverage in the beer garden (must be over 19yrs). Take your family, your chair and blanket, and enjoy a great night under the stars. This week’s headliner is Alma Chevere.
Cates Park Concerts {FREE}
Sat, July 18 (2 – 5 pm) Cates Park 200 Block Dollarton Highway, North Vancouver
This concert series showcases local bands and talented young artists who will be performing on the outdoor stage in July and August. Each concert features 3 local bands, and the final concert will showcase 9 singer/songwriters. Grab your blanket, lawn chair and picnic, and listen to live music in the Cove! This week’s line-up: Horse Opera, Leave & Caracas.
