We were gifted a meal in exchange for our review. All opinions are my own.
My family travels from Abbotsford to Vancouver on a weekly basis, so we are always looking for new restaurants to try. Rocky Mountain Flatbread is perfect for us because it is exactly halfway for us to stop. We had never eaten at one of their restaurants before and we were blown away at how beautiful it was. The restaurant is located 5570 152nd Street in South Surrey. Instead of a traditional patio, the front of this location has floor to ceiling open windows giving it a completely indoor/outdoor feel.
On the day of our visit we avoided breakfast and came hungry for lunch. We started our lunch with a Bruschetta and a Cheesy Flatbread with Roasted Garlic Dip appetizer. The Brushetta was my favourite. It was very garlicky and not oily like some can be. For our main meal we had the Roasted Vegetable Rotini and Free Range Chicken Penne. For dessert we had Double Chocolate Brownies and a Vegan Apple Crumble with Coconut Vanilla Ice Cream. The Coconut Vanilla Ice Cream was the thickest, creamiest ice cream that I had ever had. Everything was so delicious. We were beyond full after our lunch that we ended up having leftovers for dinner that evening.
Rocky Mountain Flatbread offers more vegan and gluten-free options than you would typically see in a restaurant which I really appreciated. They offer family friendly pizza making on Sundays and Mondays. Children 12 and under can make their own pizzas. If you are looking to have a date night or Moms night out they offer Three Course Tuesdays, Wine Wednesdays, Craft Beer Thurdays ad Sangria Fridays. They offer a weekend brunch as well.
Let me know in the comments what I should try the next time we eat here.
