So my default mom hairstyle is always, always, always: ponytail! I was a J Crew in the US last month and got a “fancy” looking hair elastic – I was rather impressed with myself.
But, apparently there is more to hair than a ponytail, so I can’t wait to attend our first Modern Mama Hair Event on Sunday, June 10th, 2pm-4pm at Lure Hair Salon.
This is your chance to meet 1-on-1 with a stylist about your hair, with no pressure. You’ll get a personal consultation and a fresh look at the Lure Style Bar, where your stylist will give you a new ‘do. During your consult, the stylist will also give you lots of ideas and tips for quick, easy ways to do your hair in the morning.
Plus, Lure’s education director Dee Kane will give a quick talk about general principles on hair design (ie. what face shapes are best for what hair styles), and answer any questions you have.
At this event, each person will have personal time with an expert stylist while also having some time to relax and enjoy some afternoon treats.
Each mom will also leave with a discount coupon for a future haircut, and we’ll be giving away prizes, including free services at Lure Salon.
It’ll be a fun and pampering afternoon.
